By accessing the Tool Collective platform and participating in our membership services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Our platform provides exclusive member pricing on tools, partner discounts and membership benefits designed for Australian tradespeople and apprentices.

1. Annual Membership

The Tool Collective offers a single annual membership at $250 per year (AUD), paid upfront. Membership provides 365 days of access from the date your payment is confirmed. Membership benefits include exclusive member tool pricing, partner discounts, member-only deals, trade perks, access to the member portal, special member tool offers and new benefits added throughout the year.

2. 365-Day Access Period

Your membership is active for a 365-day (one year) access period beginning on the date your payment is confirmed. Member pricing, partner offers and member-only deals are only available to eligible, active members during this period.

3. Renewal

Membership does not automatically renew. At the end of your 365-day access period, your membership will expire and access to member pricing, the member portal and partner offers will be suspended. To continue accessing benefits, you may renew your membership by paying a further $250 annual fee, which will start a new 365-day access period from the date of renewal payment.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

You may request cancellation of your membership at any time. Because membership provides immediate access to member pricing, the member portal and partner offers, the annual membership fee is generally non-refundable once access has been used. Refunds are considered in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see below). If you believe a refund is warranted, please contact us at admin.toolcollective@gmail.com.

5. Membership Accounts Are Personal & Non-Transferable

Your membership account is personal to you and is non-transferable. You must not share, sell, sub-licence or otherwise provide access to your account, member pricing or member portal to any other person. Each member must hold their own membership to access benefits.

6. Member Pricing & Eligibility

Member pricing is only available to eligible, active members whose membership is current and within the 365-day access period. Member pricing, offers and availability may change from time to time and are subject to supplier availability. We do not guarantee that any particular product, brand or price will remain available.

7. No Unauthorised Resale

Member pricing is provided for the personal and professional use of members. You must not purchase products through your membership for unauthorised commercial resale. We may apply reasonable quantity limits on purchases to ensure fair access for all members and to prevent misuse.

8. Suspicious or Abusive Purchasing Activity

We reserve the right to refuse orders, limit quantities, suspend access or terminate memberships where we identify suspicious, fraudulent or abusive purchasing activity, including bulk buying inconsistent with personal use, resale activity, or any conduct that undermines the integrity of the membership.

9. Product & Supplier Availability

All products and member pricing are subject to availability from our suppliers and distributors. Supplier range and member pricing are continually expanding and may change over time. We are not liable for the unavailability of any product or offer due to supplier circumstances.

10. Pricing Errors

We take care to display accurate pricing. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to decline or cancel an order and will offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund where payment has already been made.

11. Partner Offers

Partner offers and discounts are provided by third-party businesses and are subject to the individual terms, conditions and availability of each partner. Partner benefits, partners and suppliers may change over time, and new benefits may be added throughout the year. The Tool Collective is not responsible for the fulfilment of partner offers, which are managed directly by the relevant partner business.

12. Account Misuse

The Tool Collective reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate access to our services for any user found to be exploiting the platform, engaging in fraudulent activity, misusing member pricing, or violating these Terms.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded. Where any term conflicts with a non-excludable right under the Australian Consumer Law, that non-excludable right prevails. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

The Tool Collective is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and use your personal information to facilitate your membership, process orders, provide member benefits and improve your platform experience.

Data Use: We do not sell, trade or distribute your personally identifiable information to third parties. Your data is used exclusively to operate your membership and deliver the services you have signed up for.

Payment Security: All financial transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. We do not store or have direct access to your full credit card information on our servers.

Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
